10-feet-long King Cobra rescued from house in Cuttack 

Cuttack: Panic gripped the residents of Mangarajpur in Choudwar of Cuttack district after a 10-feet-long King Cobra was spotted inside a house in the locality today.

After spotting the reptile this morning, the family members immediately called up the Snake Helpline.

On receiving information, a team of the People For Animals (PFA), Cuttack Sadar unit reached the spot and rescued the reptile. The snake was later released into Damadamani forest in the presence of forest officials.

The King Cobra might have entered the house in search of food last night, said PFA Sadar unit In-charge Suvendu Swain.
