10 more die of COVID-19 in Odisha, toll at 2017

Bhubaneswar: As many as 10 more persons succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha as the toll mounted to 2,017.

The deceased have been identified as:

1. A 42-year-old male of Boudh district.

2. A 66-year-old male of Ganjam district.

3. A 35-year-old male of Khurda district.

4. An 80-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

5. A 55-year-old female of Puri district.

6. A 55-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

7. A 55-year-old male of Rayagada district.

8. A 47-year-old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

9. A 57-year-old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

10. A 67-year-old male of Sundargarh district.

The COVID-19 situation in Odisha has reached an alarming stage as the state reported its highest-ever spike of 8386 cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state mounted to 428515.
