10757 new COVID cases detected in Odisha; Cuttack reports highest infections

Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 tally in Odisha mounted to 622981 as 10757 more persons in the state tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Cuttack district reported highest 973 fresh infections, followed by Khurda (909) and Sundargarh (832). A total of 58,436 samples were tested in Odisha, yesterday.

With this, the number of active cases in the state surged to 106061. Odisha also reported 22 COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours as the toll reached 2,335.
