11 Odisha cops to receive President’s medal on Independence Day

Bhubaneswar, Aug 14:

Eleven policemen from Odisha, including four senior police officers, will receive President’s Medal on the Independence Day tomorrow.

The three senior IPS officers—Amrit Mohan Prasad, IG (Vigilance), Arun Sarangi, IG (Vigilance) and YB Khurania, IG (Crime Branch)— would receive the President’s Service Medal in recognition of their remarkable performance.

Besides, eight policemen from the state including a senior IPS officer and six others would receive the President’s Bravery Medal.

They are, Akhileswar Singh, SP, Malkangiri, Havildar Satya Sundar Singh and constables Siba Shankar Nayak, Manoj Kumar Parida, Pabitra Mohan Nayak, Moti Singh Khara, Tribijaya Khara and Sanat Kumar Patra.
