1,148 fresh COVID-19 cases in Odisha; 22 more die
Bhubaneswar: Odisha today registered 1,148 fresh COVID-19 cases and 22 more fatalities, informed the State authorities today.
Of new infections, 244 infectees belong to 0-18 age group, 669 cases were reported from different quarantine centres and 479 were the local contacts, the State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Departments said in a tweet.
While Khordha district continues to be in top in terms of single-day positive cases with 153 followed by Sundargarh district with 127 cases, the daily cases are on decline in rest of the districts.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha increased to 12,77,262, of which 12,330 cases are active so far.
Meanwhile, 22 more infectees succumbed to the virus in Odisha taking the toll to 8,884.
