As many as 1300 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) will appear the 10th board examination-2016 under Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
It is a record in India for highest number of students from any single school to appear in the 10th Board Examination. It also is a world record for KISS as highest number of Scheduled Tribe (ST) students from this school appear in the examination.
There are seven hundred are boys and six hundred girls among these students. Many of them belong to primitive tribal groups.
Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS distributed pens to the students today and wished them success in the forthcoming examination.
Notably, this is the fifteenth batch of KISS to appear in the 10th exam. The institute has been achieving cent percent result in board examination since its first batch. The examination will start from February 22 and end on March 4.
