14 injured as bus overturns after dashing against tree in Odisha

As many as 14 persons were injured after the bus carrying them dashed against a tree and overturned near Kalikaprasad under Champua police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district early this morning.

According to reports, the mishap took place at around 4.30 am when a private bus ‘Dildar’ was on the way to Ranchi from Bhubaneswar. The driver of the ill-fated vehicle lost control over the wheels following which it hit a tree and turned turtle injuring 14 passengers.

While three of the victims, who sustained critical injuries, were admitted to the district headquarters hospital here, nine of them were discharged from Champua hospital after being treated and remaining two are undergoing treatment.
