149 cases registered in Odisha for COVID-19 guideline violations

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Police registered a total of 149 cases for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19.

While the police registered 137 cases for violation of nationwide lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19, five cases were registered for home quarantine rules.

This apart, seven cases have been registered on other issues related to COVID-19.

Odisha has so far reported two Covid-19 cases.

Today samples of 133 persons were sent for tests. Of them 129 have been tested negative and reports of four samples are awaited, said an official of the State government.
