Bhubaneswar: As many as 1643 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 44,193 informed the Government.
While 1018 cases have been reported from different quarantine centres, remaining 625 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The fresh cases have been reported from 28 districts. Khordha and Khordha districts registered highest 274 cases. Three districts- Rayagada, Sambalpur and Sundargarh reported over 100 cases.
