Bhubaneswar: As many as 1695 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total caseload rose to 2,79,582.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 986 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 709 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 183 fresh cases followed by Balasore (128) and Sundargarh (110).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 18,882 and recovered cases at 2,59,418.
