17-YO Odisha boy collaborates with American author Pam Russ for her next

With the novel forwarded for printing, Shubhranshu, will be the first Indian teenager to have written for an Amazon publication.

Cuttack: At the tender age of 17, he has been acknowledged as an international fiction writer, and currently, he is working in collaboration with American author Pam Russ on a fiction novel based on mystery and adventure.

Subhransu Das, a resident of Rajabagicha area in Cuttack district has received praises from various quarters for his extraordinary talent.

At the age of 5, Subhransu realized his fascination with books and started reading them. With age, he developed a knack for writing stories and poems himself. Soon, he started sharing his pieces on various social media platforms. He was a part of a WhatsApp group of internationally-acclaimed authors and writers, where he often shared his stories and poems.

One day, opportunity came knocking his door when American author Pam Russ came across some of his writings. Impressed by the young boy’s skills, she contacted him and invited him to join her in writing the second edition of ‘Stealing The Blue Butterfly Diamond From West Africa.’ The novel, like its first edition, will be published by Amazon.

With the novel forwarded for printing, Subhransu, a Class 12 student from  Delhi Public School (DPS) Kalinga, will be the first Indian teenager to have written for an Amazon publication.

Sharing his experience on that, Subhransu said he was delighted to receive the recognition and is motivated to continue writing more and more. The 17-year-old budding author added that he aspires to become a professor in English literature in future.
