Bhubaneswar, July 6:

With the first phase of admission to Plus Two set to start from Monday, the Odisha government has given a major relief to Plus II aspirants from CBSE-affiliated schools by allowing them to take admission without producing their original mark sheets and migration certificates.

Plus Two +2 copyThe Higher Education department has informed all the principals and SAMS resource centres (junior and degree colleges) that students can download their mark sheets and migration certificates and get it counter-signed by their respective school principals and produce these for admission.

They also have to submit an undertaking that they will produce their original mark sheets within one month of admission, failing which the claim for the seat will be forfeited, said an official of the department.

The department took the decision after knowing that students who passed out from CBSE this year have not obtained their mark sheets and migration certificates till date from the central board, New Delhi and it is likely to be delayed further.

Meanwhile, the first phase cut-off marks in 1,431 Plus II colleges across the state have been declared. The first phase of admission will take place between July 7 and 10 while the second phase cut-off marks will be published on July 15. The second phase admissions will be conducted thereafter between July 18 and 21.
