2 bikes torched during Odisha MLA’s poll campaigning

Cuttack, Feb 15:

Two groups belonging to Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) clashed on Kumarpur-Sasang road in Athagarh of Cuttack district today leading to torching of two bikes while local MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain had gone there for panchayat polls campaigning.

According to reports, pelting of stones ensued between the group supporting the MLA and the one opposing the legislator.

The incident turned violent as two bikes and two cycles were set on fire by unidentified persons.
