3 crushed to death under crane in Odisha’s Boudh

Boudh, Mar 6:
In a tragic incident, three persons were killed and two others sustained injuries after a crane overturned and fell on them in Odisha’s Boudh district today.

According to reports, the mishap took place when repairing work of Baghanai irrigation project under Kantamal block in the district was underway.
A crane engaged to fix a broken shutter lost control and overturned reportedly due to overloading following which it fell on five labourers killing one of them on the spot.
The remaining four were rescued and rushed to Kantamal hospital where two of them succumbed to injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Ramdas Muduli, Bhima Muduli and Kunu Khura, all hailing from Nabarangpur.
