2 killed as motorcycle falls off bridge in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A motorcycle on which two persons were travelling fell off a bridge into drain at Dimirikuda in Rairakhol area of Odisha’s Sambalpur district late last night killing them.

The deceased were identified as Ramachandra Pradhan and Abhijeet Panigrahi of the locality.

According to reports, the duo was returning home on a motorcycle when the two-wheeler dashed against the parapet of the bridge. The motorcycle and the two fell into the drain.

Locals spotted bodies of the two persons floating in the drain this morning and informed the police. The family members of the deceased reached the spot and identified the bodies, following which those were sent for post-mortem.
