2 killed as pickup van rams into truck in Odisha

In a tragic incident, two persons died after the pickup van in which they were travelling rammed into a truck from rear at Bhanapur Chhak on Pipili-Nimapara road in Odisha’s Puri district today.

The deceased were identified as Bibhuti Bhusan Nanda and Harihar Pradhan, both hailing from Nuasasan village of Pipili block.

Sources said, the mishap took place when the duo was returning after attending a marriage procession last night.

Both died inside the pickup van under the impact of the collision and the vehicle was severely damaged, sources added.
