2-man state powerlifting team leaves for HP

A two-member Odisha team left for Rait in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday to participate in the National Junior & Masters (Equipped and Unequipped) Powerlifting Championship beginning from January 4.

While Jitendra Palei of Khurda would take part in the 93-kg unequipped category in the Junior group, Kartikeswar Jena of Khurda would take part in the 83-kg equipped and unequipped categories in the Masters group.
