2 Odisha youth drown in sea in Andhra Pradesh; 2 others missing

Vishakhapatnam: In a tragic incident, two youth from Odisha drowned in sea while taking bath at R.K. beach in Vishakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh today afternoon.

Eyewitnesses said four youth were taking bath at the beach when a high tide took them into deeper sea. The four went missing in the sea in subsequent minutes.

Life guards immediately launched a search operation and fished out bodies of two youth. Till the filing of this report, effort was on to trace the other two.

The four youth hailed from Odisha and were picnicking near the RK beach in Vishakhapatnam.

One of the deceased has been identified as Sumitra Tripathy from Bhadrak district.
