2 students drown in pond in Odisha’s Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda, Mar 31:

In a tragic student, two students of Gumadera school drowned to death in a pond at Malipada in Belpahar of Odisha’s Jharsuguda district today.

While one of the deceased was studying in class-VII, another was a student of class-IV, reports said.

Both drowned when they were taking bath in the water body while classes were going on, reports added.

Following the incident, three teachers of the school– Puspalata Sahu, Anjali Sahu and Sarojini Sa– were dismissed by Block Education Officer (BEO).
