210-bedded COVID-19 Health Centre begins operation in Deogarh

Deogarh: As the Odisha Government plans to open  separate hospital for coronavirus patients in every district in next one week,  a 210-bedded COVID-19 Health Centre today began its operation in Deogarh district.

The COVID-19 Health Centre equipped with all facilities to fight the deadly virus is functioning from the  Government Polytechnic College here. The hospital has a separate isolation ward and a general COVID-19 ward. And, ambulance service has also been made available for the patients.

Doctors, nurses and paramedical staffs will provide treatment to coronavirus patients. Accommodation for all doctors and support staffs has been arranged within the campus. Medicines, masks, hand washes and sanitizers has been made available for staffs as well as patients within the hospital campus. Besides treatment, food and accommodation will be ensured to the patients free of cost at the hospital.

This apart, another 200-bedded COVID-19 Health Centre has been kept ready at Deogarh Model Degree College to cater to the needs in case of emergency.
