2487 more COVID cases detected in Odisha, 51 succumb to virus

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 2487 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours while a total of 63184 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the say stood at 3.93%.

Cuttack district registered highest 422 new infections, followed by Khurda (407) and Jajpur (202).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state rose to 927186 while the number of active cases got reduced to 28730 with 3326 new recoveries.
