25-year-old man among 21 dies of COVID-19 in Odisha, toll at 2378

Bhubaneswar: As many as 21 more persons, including a 25-year-old man of Sambalpur district, succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha as the toll in the state mounted to 2378.

The deceased have been identified as:

1. A 43 years old female of Bhubaneswar.

2. A 77 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Coronary Artery Disease.

3. A 51 years old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

4. A 55 years old female of Bargarh district.

5. A 56 years old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Chronic Liver Disease.

6. A 35 years old male of Kandhamal district.

7. A 57 years old male of Kalahandi district.

8. A 43 years old male of Kalahandi district.

9. A 73 years old male of Kalahandi district.

10. A 85 years old male of Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

11. A 30 years old male of Koraput district.

12. A 67 years old male of Keonjhar district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease & Coronary Artery Disease.

13. A 41 years old male of Mayurbhanj district.

14. A 53 years old male of Mayurbhanj district.

15. A 51 years old male of Nayagarh district.

16. A 60 years old female of Nuapada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

17. A 68 years old female of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

18. A 25 years old male of Sambalpur district.

19. A 56 years old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

20. A 50 years old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Coronary Artery Disease.

21. A 72 years old male of Sundargarh district.

As many as 11099 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours as the tally in the state reached 644401 with 105375 active cases.

Khurda district reported highest 1460 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (983) and Cuttack (867). A total of 60510 samples were tested in Odisha, yesterday.
