26,180 selected for second phase +3 admission in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, July 23:

A total of 26,180 students were selected for the second phase admission in the Plus Three streams in the 2014 academic session after the cut-off marks were announced by the Odisha Higher Education department on Tuesday.

A total of 39,048 seats had fallen vacant after the first phase admission.

The cut-off marks in Arts, Commerce, PCM and CBZ in some of the prominent colleges are hereunder:

BJB College, Bhubaneswar- 64.50, 81.17, 89.40, 86.40
Rama Devi Women’s College, Bhubaneswar- 57, 71.40, 86, 82.33
GM College, Sambalpur-  61, 62.50, 79, 72.50
Khallikote College, Brahmapur- 55.67, 72.33, 80, 72.17
FM College, Baleswar- 61.33, 58.67, 80.67, 71.33
Maharshi College of Natural Law, Bhubaneswar- 52, 67.50, 75.20, 69
Rajdhani College, Bhubaneswar- 54.17, 63.67, 75.33, 70.50
Nayagarh College, Nayagarh- 62.17, 45, 70.83, 65.67
Basic Science College, Bhubaneswar-  PCM-86.33, CBZ-82.60

The merit list as per cut-off marks are available in the website of the Higher Education department www.dheorissa.in and in the notice board of the colleges.

The admission will take place from July 25 to 28 while regular classes would commence from August 7 after the spot admission on August 5.
