3 girl students kidnapped from hostel premises in Odisha’s Koraput
Koraput: Unidentified miscreants allegedly kidnapped three girl students from the hostel premises of a Sevashram School at Parajabedapadar under Dasmantpur block of Odisha’s Koraput district late last night.
The abductees have been identified as two students of class-VI and one of class-IX. A complaint in this regard has been lodged by the families of the students at Dasmantpur police station.
According to reports, the incident took place while seven girl students of the Sevashram School had gone outside their hostel rooms to attend nature’s call around 2 am. The kidnappers made them unconscious and abducted the three girls, a student said.
A police team today reached the spot and started investigation by questioning the four other students.
However, the abducted girls returned to hostel on their own. The trio expressed that they found themselves in a forested area after regaining consciousness. They were blindfolded and their limbs tied.
