3 motorcyclists killed in Sambalpur after being hit by Hyva truck

Sambalpur: In a saddening incident, three persons were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a Hyva truck in Jujumara area of Sambalpur district.

The three persons were travelling on a motorcycle bearing registration no OD15Q9870 this morning when their vehicle was hit from rear by a Hyva bearing registration no OD15B5660. The incident took place on the National Highway-55 near Bhabanipali petrol pump under Jujumara police station.

The impact of the collision was so much that all the three motorcyclists dispersed and died on the spot.

Identity of the one of the deceased has been identified as Goatm Sahu, aged 38, from Raboli village under Khairamala panchayat. The two other victims were from Raboli village as well, but their identity is yet to be known.

Sources said the trio was working with a stone crusher.
