3 of family killed as car falls off bridge in Odisha’s Bargarh

Bargarh: In a tragic incident, three persons of a family, including a woman, were killed and two others sustained critical injuries as the car in which they were travelling fell off a bridge near Jharamunda Chhak under Jharbandh block in Odisha’s Bargarh district this morning.

The injured have been admitted to Bargarh district headquarters hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the mishap took place when all of them were returning to Jharbandh from Bhubaneswar after completion of their passport verification.

The driver of the ill-fated vehicle lost control over the wheels following which it hit the parapet of the bridge and fell off killing three persons on the spot and grievously injuring two others.

On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the bodies.

In another road mishap in the state, drivers of two trucks were killed after the two vehicles collided head-on at Anandpur-Satkosia ghat in Keonjhar district early this morning.
