2 women electrocuted as 11 KV wire snaps in Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: In a tragic incident, two women were electrocuted to death and two others sustained critical injuries as an 11 KV wire snapped and fell on them at Ganapalli village under Bharasuja panchayat in Odisha’s Balangir district this morning.

The mishap took place when they were working at a crop field, reports said.

The deceased were identified as Rebati Sahu and Damayanti Sahu.

The injured have been admitted to Balangir district headquarters hospital.
