Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today appointed its women leaders as district in-charge of the State Women Committee to monitor organizational work in the districts.

The fresh appointment comes less than a month’s time where 18 women leaders were appointed to oversee party’s organizational work.

“In suppression of previous orders, women leaders of Biju Janata Dal are hereby appointed as district in-charge of the state Women Committee to monitor organizational work in the districts. This order comes into force with immediate effect,” BJD General Secretary (Media Affairs) Manas Ranjan Mangaraj said in a statement.
