319 more COVID-19 infections detected in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Another 319 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the state's total caseload to 3,26,915. 

Of the total fresh cases detected from 26 districts, 184 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 135 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Sundargarh district recorded highest 72 fresh cases followed by Angul (35) and Khordha (23). 

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 3,063 and recovered cases at 3,21,956.
