319 new COVID-19 cases in Bhubaneswar; details here

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally reached 6396 in Bhubaneswar with 319 new positive cases reported in the last 24 hours, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.

Of fresh cases, 172 are quarantine cases linked with earlier positive cases and 147 are local contacts.

As per details of new positive cases shared by the BMC, 16 persons infected with the virus in Mancheswar area and 12 quarantine cases have been reported from a residential area in Budha Nagar.

Meanwhile, another 113 persons infected with COVID-19 have recovered from the disease in the city. One person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of recoveries rises to 3953 and toll reached 31 in the State capital.
