Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today ordered filling up of 327 Police Sub Inspector (SI) and 24 Sergeant vacancies under the state Home Department. These positions would be filled through State Staff Selection Commission.
It may be noted that the government is pushing to fill up vacancies under different departments to enhance their performance. The Chief Minister had recently advised officials to ensure greater co-ordination between different departments and employment exchange for faster filling up of vacancies.
