3490 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha; here’re district-wise details
Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 3490 fresh COVID-19 cases today, following which the state’s tally surged to 1,31,382 informed the Government.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2094 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1396 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 535 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (376) and Mayurbhanj (207).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 31,362. However, 99,398 patients have recovered in the state so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that total 41,275 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 21,84,841 tests have been conducted in the state.
