4 labourers critical after coming in contact with live wire in Odisha's Balasore

Baliapal/Balasore: In an unfortunate mishap, eight labourers suffered injuries, four of them critically, after they came in contact with a live wire in Baliapal village of Balasore district in Odisha here today.

As per reports, 11 labourers were engaged in house construction of one Babu Sethy in the village. They were laying rods when eight of the workers accidentally came in contact with an 11 KV live wire. While they suffered injuries, four of them became critical.

Locals immediately shifted the workers to Baliapal community health centre while the critical victims were taken to Balasore district headquarters hospital.
