4 Odisha cops to get Union Home Minister’s medal for Excellence in Investigation

Bhubaneswar: Four police officials from Odisha have been selected for Union Home Ministers Medal for Excellence in Investigation for 2023.

Two DSPs of Sundargarh district—Pravat Kumar Biswal and Manas Ranjan Pradhan, Ganjam police Inspector Prasant Kumar Sahoo and Cuttack UPD Inspector Durgesh Nandini Mohanty from Odisha have been selected for the medal.

Altogether 140 police officials from different states, Union Territories and various central agencies like NIA and CBI have been selected for the medal, said a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs today.

The Odisha Police, meanwhile, congratulated the four officials for their selection for the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation for 2023.
