4 special trains to run between Puri and Shalimar

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run four pairs of special trains between Puri and Shalimar of West Bengal.

The four trains, including a bi-weekly Garib Rath Special and three weekly special trains, will run till further advice.

The Puri-Shalimar-Puri Garib Rath Special will depart from Puri every Monday and Wednesday from August 11 and from Shalimar on every Tuesday and Thursday with effect from August 12.

Puri-Shalimar-Puri Special from Puri will leave Puri every Sunday from August 15 and Shalimar every Monday from August 16.

Besides, Puri-Shalimar-Puri Special will depart from Puri every Thursday with effect from August 12 and from Shalimar on every Friday from August 13 till further advice.

Similarly, Puri-Shalimar-Puri Special will start from Puri on every Tuesday from August 10 and from Shalimar on every Wednesday from August 11.

All the trains will leave from Puri at 10.05 PM on their respective days of running and will reach at Shalimar at 6.50 AM on the following days. In the return direction, the trains will leave Shalimar at 10.45 PM on the respective days of running and reach Puri at 5.10 AM on the following days.

The trains will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur and Shantragachhi.
