4th phase Odisha Elections: On-duty poll official falls sick

Balasore: An on-duty woman poll official was hospitalised after she fell sick reportedly due to sunstroke during fourth phase elections here in the district.

The ailing official identified as Sagarika Nayak was admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Soro. She was engaged as the presiding officer at booth number 50 in Bahanaga.

According to reports, the official suffered from heat exhaustion due to heat wave during the polls.
