5% seat reservation for Divyang students in Odisha colleges

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has ordered to keep five percent seat reservation for Divyang students in all the colleges in the state to provide them higher education.

The directive has been issued by Odisha Higher Education department to all the autonomous, degree and plus two junior colleges asking them to strictly follow the system to ensure that the differently abled students will not get deprived for higher studies.

Notably, the second phase of admission into Plus Three courses commenced from Friday. The department has asked to implement the order during admission into degree courses in the colleges.
