58 fresh COVID-19 cases in Odisha; tally at 3,36,042

Bhubaneswar: Odisha added 58 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, following which the state’s total caseload today further surged to 3,36,042.

Highest 10 fresh cases have been reported from Sundargarh district.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 16 districts, 35 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 23 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 799 and recovered cases at 3,33,280.
