5th Women’s Car Rally to be held to mark International Women’s Day

Bhubaneswar: Fifth edition of Women’s Car Rally will be held here in Odisha capital to mark International Women’s Day.

Seva Prayas Foundation is scheduled to hold its 5th Women’s Car Rally 2K22 on March 13.

“This International women’s Day-2022, aims at the theme “GenderEqualityforSustainableTomorrow”.  Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programs,” Seva Prayas Foundation stated in a release.

Along with it, the 9th Women Achiever Felicitation “KALINGA BIRAANGANA SAMMAN 2022” will be held by the Seva Prayas Foundation in seven different categories — Actress, Artist, Politics, Social Worker, Health Services, Education/Sports & Journalism — on March 13.

Briefing media, Seva Prayas Foundation Founder Linkan Subudhi shared information about the car rally and Kalinga Birangana Samman along with the tentative route chart from Aditya Motors, Mahindra, Nakhara to Wonderworld Water Park, Puri.

The organisation is also planning to take support of Odisha Road Safety Society to impart driving training to few interested 50 women this year.

Priti Dhal, columnist and social worker; Valina Valentina, Karate player; and Namrata Chadha, social activist and director of Seva Prayas Foundation were also present at the press meet.
