Nabarangpur, Feb 2:
Forest department officials today arrested five members of a gang involved in smuggling of leopard and bear skins, claws and teeth of wild animals in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district.
Six leopard skins and nine teeth of the animal have been seized from them. Similarly, claws of bears in large quantities have been also seized from their possession, departmental sources revealed.
Three more members of the gang are absconding and efforts are on to nab them, said Forest department officials.
