Bhubaneswar: Another 730 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,16,001.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 419 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 311 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Mayurbhanj recorded highest 68 fresh cases followed by Khordha (65) and Sundargarh (57).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 6,887 and recovered cases at 3,07,374.
