9 Odisha districts issued thunderstorm, rainfall warning

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm and rainfall will lash nine districts of Odisha this evening, according to the forecast of weathermen.

Parts of Bargarh, Cuttack, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Kandhamal, Khordha, Nayagarh, Nuapada and Sundergarh will experience light to moderate thunderstorm and lightning today.

The Regional Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate rainfall and gusty surface wind with speed reaching 40 kmph in these areas.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail between 5 pm and 8 pm this evening.
