Rehman was brought to Cuttack from Delhi early this morning and kept at Malgodown police station amid tight security before he was produced at the court. He will be taken back to Delhi by the police team, sources said.

It may be recalled that Rehman, who was earlier brought to Odisha for interrogation over his alleged links with the terrorist outfit, was taken back to Delhi on July 13 after completion of his remand period. He was later produced before the Tis Hazari court in New Delhi and then sent to Tihar jail.

The 37-year-old Rehman, a resident of Paschimkachha in Cuttack, was arrested by the Delhi Police on December 16, last year on charges of radicalizing youth for terror activities. Later, he was booked under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Rehman, who ran a madrasa at Tangi area near Cuttack, had links with a man involved in a failed car bomb attack at the Glasgow international airport in 2007, Odisha police had alleged.
