Ace Odisha sprinter Dutee Chand accorded rousing welcome at KIIT

Bhubaneswar, June 17: Ace sprinter of Odisha Dutee Chand, who won double gold medal in the women’s 200 m and 400 m x 4 relay in the recently concluded Junior Asian Athletic Championship in Taipei, China, was accorded rousing welcome at the KIIT campus after she arrived in the state capital here today.

A student of KIIT Law School, Dutee was felicitated in the presence of Dr Achyut Samanta, founder, KIIT and KISS.

Expressing satisfaction over the achievement, Samanta said Dutee has brought many laurels for Odisha and the country and will repeat her splendid show in the forthcoming World Junior Athletic Championship and Commonwealth Games.
