After 9 months, schools reopen in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Schools across Odisha reopened today after being shutdown for nine months due to COVID-19 pandemic.

“All proper arrangements have been put in place. Wearing of masks and use of sanitizer are mandatory for both students and teachers. The seating arrangement of students have been made accordingly to ensure social distancing,” informed a Government official.

As per the order of the state Government, schools for class 10 and 12 students resumed today. Universities for final year students will reopen from January 11.

Meanwhile, the state Government has directed the Health and Family Welfare Department to conduct regular health checkup of school students to curb spread of COVID-19.
