After hot pursuit, Odisha cops recover stolen bus

Cuttack: High drama unfolded on Bhubaneswar-Cuttack National Highway this evening as multiple PCR vans chased a bus that was allegedly being stolen and driven by a person.

According to reports, the accused stole the passengerless bus in Bhubaneswar and drove the vehicle towards Cuttack on NH-16. On being informed about the incident, policemen in six PCR vans chased the speeding bus to nab the wrongdoer.

The chase continued throughout the stretch of the NH till OMP Square in Cuttack, where the vehicle met with an accident. The cops then detained the bus stealer for questioning. Further investigation by police was underway.
