Air health services begin in Odisha’s Nuapada

Nuapada: To ensure quality healthcare services to all, Odisha Government today began air health services in Nuapada district with a team of seven super specialist doctors arriving at the district headquarters hospital (DHH) here to cater to the needs of the people.

The specialist doctors arrived at Nuapada Gotama Airstrip here at around 8.30 am on a flight from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) Bhubaneswar. They would provide treatment to 175 patients at the DHH for two days starting today, before flying back.

The team includes specialists from cardiology, anesthesiology, neurology, gastroenterology and nephrology departments. Besides,  Nuapada CDMO, DPMO and the hospital manager will be present during the two-day medical camp.

The state Government would bear all costs incurred towards the service.
