Ambulance, truck head-on collision claims one life in Odisha

Deogarh: A road accident claimed one life and injured two others when an ambulance collided with a truck near Prabhasuni in the wee hours, today.

The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Pradhan, the driver of the ambulance.

According to reports, the 108 ambulance was returning after admitting a patient to VIMSAR in Burla, when it crashed into a truck at around 4 am.

The injured, pharmacist Titen Gadnayak and helper Ripan Pradhan have been shifted to VIMSAR for treatment.
