Amit Shah arrives in Odisha for BJP national executive meet

BJP national president Amit Shah arrived in Odisha capital this afternoon for party’s national executive meeting scheduled to be held here on April 15 and 16.

Shah reached Biju Patnaik International Airport here at around 1.30 pm and was warmly received by several BJP leaders, including Dharmendra Pradhan, party state president Basanta Kumar Panda and BJP legislative leader in Odisha Assembly Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, with lotus garlands.

He then proceeded towards AG Square amid tight security along with a bike rally by party workers where he paid floral tributes to Indian Constitution’s founding father Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 126th birth anniversary.

The saffron party’s national president also joined Odia new year celebration programme at BJP state headquarters this evening.
