Amitabh Bachchan shares old ‘emotional’ letter written to him by Abhishek

Bhubaneswar: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who often shares his family pictures and videos on social media, has uploaded an old emotional letter written to him by son Abhishek when the junior Bachchan was a kid.

Sharing the letter on his Twitter handle, Amitabh captioned, “Abhishek in his glory.. a letter to me when I was away on a long outdoor schedule”. He also wrote it in Hindi “Pooth Sapooth Toh Kyun Dhan Sanchaye, Pooth Kapooth Toh Kyun Dhan Sanchaye (If your son is a man of character, why does one need to save money for him as he is competent enough to earn more, if your son is lacking in character, then also, why should one save as he will use it in wrong ways).

In the letter written in cursive style, Abhishek suggests his father not to worry as he is there to take care of everyone in the family.

Addressing his father as ‘Darling Papa’, Abhishek wrote, “How are you? We are all well. I miss you very much. Papa you will be home soon. I am praying for your smile Papa. God is hearing our prayers. Do not worry I will look after mama, Shweta didi and the house. I am naughty sometimes. I love you Papa. Your darling son, Abhishek. ”

While the emotional letter left the Twitterati in awe, Abhishek shared the post and wrote, “@SrBachchan evidently before I took a creative letter writing course (sic).”

A user commented, “Will take care of mamma, Shweta didi and the house…. rulaoge kya @juniorbachchan ?”.  “A very affectionate letter from a Child to his father,” wrote another.
